Karate
From far and wide, Canadians will get to experience one of the newest sports added to the Olympics and Canada Games
An ancient discipline with brand new roots in the Olympic movement, karate made its Olympic debut at the 2020 Summer Olympics. Karate has however been featured on the Pan American Games program since 1995.
Karate will also be making its debut on the Canada Games program at the 2023 Games in PEI.
