Prince Edward Island

Summer Games

The entire province of Prince Edward Island hosted the 2009 Canada Summer Games, moving from West to East as the Games progressed. Among the many winners at these Games was the University of Prince Edward Island, which came away with new venues for swimming and track-and-field. This added infrastructure resulted in the creation of varsity programs that continue to thrive today.
