Winter Games

In 2019 Alberta welcomed Canada to Red Deer, the host city for the 27th iteration of the Canada Games. Over the course of 17 days from February 17 to March 3, the Games became the biggest event in Red Deer’s history and Alberta’s largest undertaking since the 1988 Winter Olympics.
